Where we've worked
We're a team of gamers, first and foremost, and we believe that great games need to be built by teams with great experience (design is hard! balancing a game economy is hard! nailing the art style is hard!). We have worked at some of the biggest names in gaming, both in the trenches as well as in leadership positions, and we have a long track record of success as founders as well.
Rocket Games was founded in 2013, and grew organically (without any outside funding) into the #1 classic-style free-to-play mobile slots game (Viva Slots Vegas), with $25 million in profitable annual revenue. The company was acquired by publicly traded casino gaming company Penn National Gaming in 2016 for $170 million.
Drivetime (rebranded to Drive.fm in 2020) was founded in 2018 to build interactive audio entertainment using cutting-edge speech recognition technologies for a deeply underserved audience - commuter drivers. The company raised $15 million in venture funding from top tier investors (including Makers Fund, Google and Amazon), partnered with some of the top names in entertainment (including Sony's "Jeopardy!" to bring beloved Alex Trebek's voice into the car) and won numerous awards (including a coveted Webby).
